Just last week over 600+ multifamily investors, owners, developers, financiers and other industry principals attended a full-day of premium panels and workshops in Los Angeles for the Marcus & Millichap/IPA Multifamily Forum: Southern California. I was honored to be one of the speakers alongside an impressive panel including Jerome Fink, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Bascom Group, Aaron Hancock, Managing Director, Raintree Partners, Henry Manoucheri, Chairman & CEO, Universe Holdings, Lynn Owen, Chief Operations Officer, TruAmerica Multifamily and Tony Whitaker, President & CEO, FSI Construction.

The topic Up Next: The Value-Add Proposition focused on the most effective repositioning techniques for pushing rental rates, how new developments in the market are impacting the returns on value-add investments, and how successful players are identifying the best opportunities. At CDDG this is our daily business. We work with multifamily properties to position them as the market leader with their target audience and achieve their rental goals through our color design considering the functional, visual ergonomics and the aesthetic application of color. My team and I had enjoyed getting to network with other like-minded vendors supportive of growth in our industry. There are some important developments happening that CDDG are a part of including a large multifamily project we are designing the colors for here in Arizona. This project is all solar powered. It’s cutting edge and each part of the overall design takes into consideration how this impacts the environment, the community, the occupant and the bottom line.
